YSL Baobab Python Wedge Sandals

You already all have got to know that I am not a wedge girl. So imagine how I felt when I came across these YSL Baobab Python Wedge Sandals! Can we say #shoegasm! These are just in time for the summer. The heel measures about 5 1/2 inches and the platform in another 2 inches. The wedges are gray, olive and orange python sandals.

The perfect fit for these would be some ripped shorts and a beige blouse. A khaki colored sun dress would even set these shoes off! Gotta have em?

Fergie Was spotted looking hot and bang on trend when she was spotted at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Feb. 21st.

She was wearing super stylish metallic skinny jeans by David Kahn Jeans teamed with a black top and a shiny back open vest.

Fergie looked cool with laid back hair and make up which she rocked with fab sunglasses!

She finished off her look by carrying a gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent Roady Bag, and also wore black open toe Barter heels from her own shoe range. Lush!

Shantel VanSanten looked stunning when she attended the Rachel Roy Fall 2010 Presentation during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City on February 15th!!

She oozed sophistication and glamour in a cream leather dress from the Rachel Roy 2011 Collection paired with red Christian Louboutin heels, she swept her hair over her shoulder and went for a dark red lip shade to add depth to her look! This dress could have looked awkward on the wrong person but was great on her, she really worked it and made it her own. Beautiful!!

Shantel also looked great on February 14th also during Fashion Week when she went to the Jenny Packham Fall 2011 Fashion Show!

Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto In A Strawberry Tote

Five hundred thousand copies of the YSL Spring/Summer 2010 Manifesto (6th Edition) will be distributed in London, Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Berlin starting Feb. 16th and features Natalia Vodianova photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

The first 2,000 recipients will get theirs in a strawberry printed tote designed by YSL creative director Stefano Pilati. Three short videos will appear on their Youtube, Facebook and YSLManifesto.com pages.

A Perfect Canvas: Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoo Canvas Pumps

I'm sooo smitten over the YSL Tribtoo Canvas Pumps. Quite honestly I was over YSL Tribtoo's, I mean really they are a platform pump that they variate in color and come in leather, suede, or patent leather right? I mean other than saying that you have on some YSL Pumps what originality did they bring to the table. But my oh my!

The YSL Tribtoo Canvas Pumps are just the "new new" that the line needed. I absolutely luv a canvas shoe. I remember I purchased a pair of Michael Kors pair a few years back and made the drastic mistake of letting my cousin wear them and some how or another by the time I remembered that she had them *she had them so long* and I asked for them back the canvas was coming apart and...I can't, this may make me call her and lay her out, again. Moving on, these YSL Tribtoo Canvas Pumps are all that and more. The shoe is featured in a yellow canvas round toe. It has leather piping at the throat a 5.5" heel and a 1" hidden platform. I luv everything about this shoe...can someone send them to me ASAP!

Long Reigning Champ: Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoo Platform Pump

YSL should be proud, it is estimated to be thee red carpet shoe of the year. The number of times the YSL Tribtoo Platform Pump has actually been worn on the red carpet is not officially recorded, but it is known to be on the red carpet more than any other shoe designer out there. *Wow* That says alot. Available in suede or patent leather, the Tribtoo Pumps can be purchased in grey, black, red, blue, and an off white / grey-ish color. And as awkward as it may sound, with its 5 1/2" heel, it is said to be quite a comfortable pair of heels.

Well it looks that YSL Tribtoo Platform Pumps are once again re-inventing themselves and creating quite a buzz with its new Pre-Spring grey patent version. Although an exclusive to Netaporter, Saks has a darker version of the shoe available since the Netaporter ones are flying off the shelves faster than bread and milk does during a snow storm. Check the pics below which feature the light grey patent leather slip on pump with a heel that measures 6"! (I'm sure it's more like 5 1/2") It has a 2" concealed platform. With these babies on your feet will do all the talking your outfit will need not say a thing!

You Have Beautiful Lashes: My Top 5 Mascara

Every time you turn on the TV, there is a commercial about having beautiful lashes. Every product guarantees you the same thing. They promise to define, shape, separate, condition, thicken, extend, volumize and the list goes on. With so many products out there promising you the same thing, how do you know which one to choose?

Well, I have put together my top 5 favorite mascaras. They range from every day wear to red carpet ready.

Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara $20/ Mally Beauty

This is my go to mascara. If I want my lashes to look full and luxe, I will use this every time. The trick is to apply one coat, let it dry and then apply another coat. You can repeat this step as many times to give you the look you want. It really makes my lashes look full and dramatic without clumping. This mascara has a combo of natural waxes and powders with a big brush. Try it, I think you will love it.

DiorShow Mascara $24/ Sephora

This mascara is a must have in your beauty bag. It really gives your lashes length. I love this mascara because it goes on smooth and it has a big brush. It does take practice with the big brush, but once you get it down, the results are amazing. It comes in black, chestnut, azure blue and plum.

M.A.C Zoom Fast Black Lash $13 / Mac

M.A.C is always the go to brand for makeup. I like this mascara because it doesn't smudge and it gives my lashes length and volume. The only issue I have is that to much comes out on the brush. You have to take some of it off, but other than that it is a good product.

Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara $22 / Bobbi Brown

If you want a very clean everyday mascara, then this is the one for you. This product is good if you are just starting to use mascara or going to work for a professional look or just need a little pick me up. It doesn't clump, smudge or smear. It comes in black and this black is a jet black.

YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils $28.50 / Sephora

If dramatic is what you are looking for in a mascara, then this product is for you. This luxurious mascara brings the attention to your eyes. It has nylon fibers to give you the volume you need. It comes in high density black, rich brown, extreme blue, fascinating violet, burgundy, deep night (blackened navy blue), khaki green and sublime grey (deep slate grey).

So ladies, there you have it. My favorite mascaras. Don't be afraid to use it. Play around with different brands, colors, thickness and remember NO CLUMPS. You should have a mascara for every occasion - work or play, naughty or nice. You should never be caught without it. Sometimes, all you need is some mascara and lip gloss/stick and you are good to go. A little goes a long way.
